Denver Skate-A-rific Adventure

With summer in full force and the sound of chirping squirrels in the air, a small band of us TTN folk headed out to Denver, Colorado for some mile high city exploration. Out of all the places in Denver to take our appetite for adventure, the Denver Skatepark was one that could not be missed. So, out came the GoPro HD and some wide angle, 720p, skate-A-rific video capturing began.

In the Park with Twin Tip Nation

On August 9th we headed down to one of Rio Rancho, New Mexico's skate parks played some toonage, shown some light and had a really fun time.

Many of the locals showed up Matt, Elias, Sammy, Apollo, James, Dilan, Brenden and many many many others. Thank you all for making it a positive fun event. You all made the event what it was. Also, thanks goes out to the City of Rio Rancho for supplying the land, the ramps, banks, spines, boxes . . . for all of us to enjoy.

Keep up the good work!

TTN's No Drama Day at Angel Fire Resort

TTN's No Drama Day at Angel Fire Resort started early in the morning Saturday January 31st this year of 2009. We planted the TTN Tent at the base of the Chile Express lift, where it bloomed into a tune playing hangout that kept all those waiting for a lift to the top entertained. Team TTN spread across Angel Fire Resort's mountain like a flock of crows looking for Farmer John's choicest crop of all mountain fun. Some team members focused their attention to Liberation Terrain Park and sampled many of the tasty features it offered: Five kickers, two of which where rather large, three rails, one fat box, one propane tank - yeah thats right a propane tank, one bus, a table top with wall ride and hip and one dedicated lift that serviced it all like a huge plate at a Vegas Buffet.

Sunday, started out a bit cooler - temp wise, and it seemed to pattern just like Saturday. But out of the blue, clouds started moving in and before you could do a cork 7 it was gray and gloomy. That didn't stop Team TTN. They hit up Angel Fire Resort's mountain harder than ever. Like bark beetles on a Pinon they sucked up all the features of the terrain park and sessioned their little hearts out and made us a little video. Yeah, thats coming soon too!

However, the day ended short when one of our riders took a nasty spill, tweaking her back so hard that she had to take a little flashy ride to the nearest ER, which was 30 minutes away. Thanks goes to John for tagging along to keep her company and to get your broken finger fixed. Thankfully the prognoses was a positive one for both of them and we were able to take her home where she was greeted by her family and taken well care of.

Our prayers go out to you, Lauren, for a speedy recovery. (I know, I know, I butchered your name - sorry)

Aside from a broken finger, a nearly horrendous back injury, tweaked knees, bloodied pants, bruised shoulders and dry throats all around, the TTN No Drama Day at Angel Fire Resort went really well.

Thanks again to the great hospitality of Angel Fire Resort and staff including Andy, Christy, Burt and all the rest who helped out.

Oh yeah, thanks to Alex's Mom for handling all the TTN gear. You rock too!

Pajarito Mountain's Crazy Mother Terrain Park Opens

A Rio Rancho Rail Jam at Blades

Well, if you didn't know and now its a bit late, on December 5th and 6th, just outside of Blades in Rio Rancho New Mexico there was a rail jam. It was a bit chilly on Friday with the wind blowing that cold nasty air right through our hoodies gving us the shivers, but that didn't stop the brave souls doing what they do best on the boxes and rails. So we made this little video out of it.

Also, its snowing right now! So we are pumped.
